On Thursday, September 22nd, GBHO held a community meeting at the Colony Barn.  We discussed the results to date of the GB survey.  This survey will help to inform our input to the upcoming Lewisboro Comprehensive Town Plan.  Scan this QR code to complete the survey (if you have not already done so):

Find out more about the Comprehensive Town Plan here.  Please come to our next meeting on Monday, October 24th to learn more about the Comprehensive Town Plan and discuss what’s best for Goldnes Bridge.

Below is a list of the items that our GB neighbors at the meeting are most concerned about:

  1. meetings focus on actual ideas/solutions/concerns
  2. focus on GB being more walkable
  3. water issues, we have a PFOA problem
  4. dirt road maintenance because toxic & unsafe materials are being used
  5. what state/county/federal funding might be available to address our water problems
  6. what public assets exist in GB, what areas could be developed/repurposed for community good, and establish the “art of possible”.  Then discuss the highest best uses of these spaces and the roads/sidewalks/bike paths that connect them
  7. GB PFOA problems
  8. Colony roads: toxic materials, poor maintenance
  9. Sidewalks to and from train in GB
  10. Is there going to be a shuttle from affordable housing to ACME and train
  11. Any money for PFAO PFOS mitigation?
